My mission is to empower you take responsibility for your health and happiness.
So let me guess.
In your heart you know that you need to eat healthy.
You don’t chow down on fast food all day….but you want to improve the quality of your life, right?
You’ve stocked up your fridge with broccoli and spinach before — you’ve honestly tried to get started. Perhaps you’ve even bought membership to a yoga studio. But you had the week from hell at work, and….
A glass of wine, or two (or three).
Then comes the warm bread and olive oil, followed by a delicious pasta dinner with your posse. You couldn’t resist the brownie with salted-caramel ice cream for dessert.
The next morning you wake up with a hangover and a yoke of depression chocking you. And your little voice of resolve gets swallowed as you down a few ibuprofens. You feel too bloated to go to yoga.
Sounds like you?
I can help.
After six weeks of following Jessica’s advice I felt better at 47 than I had felt at 37! I didn't realize that I didn't have to live with the aches and pains I had been experiencing for the past 8 years. No more body aches, no more headaches, no more bloating or constipation. That was five years ago and I still feel great! My improved health was so obvious that people who hadn't seen me in a few years asked me for my secret because I looked great and had so much energy. I can't express how thankful I am that I have her in my life.

About Jessica Blanchard
I spent eight years toiling away as a management consultant. I had money, but no time. I gained weight and suffered from PCOS, a common but untreatable fertility condition in women of reproductive age. I tried every fad diet, including the maple syrup and cayenne pepper cleanse (twice!).
The techniques of yoga helped me to find inner strength and courage. I ditched the corporate job and went to India to immerse myself in yoga and Ayurveda. For three years I taught yoga on a beach retreat center in Thailand. Slowly my health and outlook improved. With the help of my wise Eastern teachers, using herbs and yoga, we cured my PCOS.
In 2008 I came home to New Orleans and founded Balance Yoga & Wellness Center. I also enrolled in a traditional university and became a Registered Dietitian in 2013.
As I put the pieces of the puzzle together — how I eat, think, and live, I’ve lost weight and become healthier and happier.
I founded Stop Feeling Crappy to empower you to improve your health naturally. It’s time to stop making excuses and start taking steps to find your healthiest, happiest self.
Don’t worry, you won’t have to give up coffee, wine or chocolate. On weekends you’ll find me in the kitchen experimenting with how to make healthy versions of chocolate mousse while I sip red wine.
I believe health is more important than wealth, and that everyone has the right to know how to improve their health so they can live life to its fullest.
You’ll never hear me condemn or judge you for your lifestyle choices. I meet you where you are. Remember, we are on this journey together.
I have worked with Jessica for more than 5 years. I have enjoyed her personalized approach to nutrition, unlike other militant, one-size-fits-all programs. She is from New Orleans, after all, and understands a culture's connection to its cuisine! The dietary changes she has advised for me and my family have been appropriate, practical, and integral to a healthy lifestyle. With kindness she has helped us through challenges like insomnia, allergies, and even cancer treatment. Jessica is very knowledgeable in the practice of Ayurveda, and truly a gift to her clients.
