From Fast Food Commercials to Vegan Activism: Interview with Gene Baur

Gene Baure at Farm Sanctuary

Have you heard of a Farm Sanctuary?

It’s not a place where farm animals go for spa treatment. Not exactly. You’ll have to listen to my interview with Gene Baur to unveil the truth.

Gene has dedicated his life to raising awareness about the abuses of industrialized factory farming and our current food system.

He was hailed as the “conscience of the food movement” by Time magazine.

I caught Gene at a Vegan Bloggers Conference in late May.

Top quotes from the ten minute interview:

“To me, being vegan is more of an inspiration than an end point.”

“It’s good for animals. It’s good for people. It’s good for the planet. It’s a win-win situation”

Learn how to take a few steps towards veganism, even if you aren’t ready to jump in whole hog (excuse the bad pun).

Listen here. (Sound file will open a new window.)

p.s. If you’d like to learn more about Gene and his work visit the Farm Sanctuary website.
